The A Team Project

Job Scout matches

Every morning, a short list of jobs that fit, with the reasons why.

Job Scout pulls fresh postings from a curated list of company boards each morning, filters them against each member’s preferences, and writes a short “why it fits you” brief for the best matches. Members save or skip each job with a reason, and those reasons shape the next run.

How it flows.

  1. Turn the scout on and set target roles, seniority, remote and travel limits, themes to steer away from and companies to skip.
  2. Matches appear on the jobs page as cards with freshness, a two-line summary and a collapsible “Chippy AI Job Brief”.
  3. Save or Skip opens a short dialog asking why. Nothing is written until you confirm, and an Undo banner follows every decision.
  4. Saved jobs move through applying, applied, interviewing and closed.
  5. An optional digest emails the strongest new matches, with links checked just before sending.

The small decisions.

Decision dialogs, redesigned

Saving and skipping were rebuilt as quick reason pickers that capture intent in a tap, with room for your own words.

Rules before the model

Hard filters (already seen, excluded companies, location, seniority) run first and are deterministic. The model only ranks and explains what is left.

One jobs and dashboard language

The jobs page, the dashboard teaser and site-wide navigation states share one system, so moving between them feels like one product.
